More Star Wars Architectural Horseplay: Hotels & Sandcrawlers

Our friends at Life Without Buildings have brought to light yet ANOTHER striking similarity between the vehicle design of early Star Wars films and famous architects.

This instance involves a bit of Tunisian architecture, the Hotel du Lac, serving as the inspiration for the Jawa Sandcrawler. They say the sincerest form of flattery is imitation, I say the coolest looking hotels are lumbering junk-yard vehicles.
